Aging face

Aging face

It would be too simple to consider the aging face as a simple cutaneous relaxation (« wrinkled »). The amendments concern the skeleton (« framing »), muscle and plan in musculoskeletal skin (causing motor face) and skin (« envelope »). It is therefore necessary to analyze all these components and be able to act at these levels for a natural and lasting result.

With time:

  • Under the constraint of external aggression (sun and tobacco, for example), skin changes in quality (decreasing its élaticité and its tone) and quantity (reduction in thickness). This results, for example by « wrinkles ».
  • The subcutaneous tissues (superficial musculoaponeurotic system and seventh) relax. This is reflected for example by the « puffiness ».
  • The skeleton decreases in volume location. Edentulism prinicipale is the cause. This is reflected for example by an upper lip appearance aminicie lack of underlying supports bone (bone resorption jawbone)

The main changes found in function of age are:

  • 30 years
    • appearance of nasolabial folds
    • start of loosening eyelid appearance with tired look
  • 40 years
    • crow's feet, wrinkles Lion
    • loss of definition of the jaws
  • 50 years
    • marionette lines
    • double chin
    • jowls
    • eyelid bags
    • reduction in the volume of the cheekbones
    • appearance of skin spots
  • 60 years
    • thinner skin
    • excess upper palpebral
  • 70 years
    • accentuation of all changes
