Basal cell carcinoma

Basal cell carcinoma

Basal cell carcinoma is the most common skin cancer.

It is favored by repeated sun exposure and therefore appears most often after 60 years. Its evolution is slow and does not cause metastatases. It is located mostly on the face, scalp and neck.

Diagnosis of basal cell carcinoma occurs only by biopsy with anatomologique examination.

The main treatment of basal cell carcinoma is surgical (exeresis).
